Having worked in Technology for over 20 years, from Account Director and Product Manager through to Technology Evangelist - it was time for a change. A decision made easier by wanting to spend more time with my young family - seeking that ever elusive work/life balance!
With my wife having firmly embraced the world of recruitment, we decided to start our own recruitment agency - and Leap Talent was born.
Leaning on our experience of working closely with Marketing to develop B2B engagement strategies, awareness & brand campaigns, events and exhibitions and social and digital marketing, it was a natural fit for Leap Talent to specialise in working with marketing agencies.
Finding a job is hard, finding a rewarding job where you can be fulfilled and have your potential unlocked is even harder - which is what makes MY job so enjoyable. Recruitment is not - and never should be - a numbers 'game', being in the right role with the right culture plays a huge part in mental and emotional health - which is why we spend so much time with clients to really understand their brief and with candidates to make sure they're right, both technically and culturally.
Outside of work, when I'm not spending time with my family, you'll find me in the gym, playing sports, cooking (and eating too much!), reading and travelling, I've also been known to binge a TV series or two.

I loved working within the marketing industry, fast-forward to 12 years and 2 kids later, I realised I no longer wanted to get home late and sacrifice time with my girls. Reconsidering my career path and stepping into recruitment was the best decision I ever made. It’s allowed me to draw upon my marketing expertise, and complemented with my husband’s background and strengths, we create the perfect recruitment team.
I love my job and take huge pride in supporting candidates with their next career step as well as being an extension of our client’s HR team - uncovering the perfect calibre of potential employees that fit both the expertise and culture of the agencies we work so closely with. Working for ourselves allows us to offer more flexibility to our clients/candidates, including chatting to candidates before or after work to make it more convenient for them.
When I’m not with family and friends I enjoy a good walk/bike ride, hitting it down the gym, relaxing at the theatre or spa (Nirvana Spa is my regular), eating my hubby’s delicious cooking, reading or getting hooked and binging a quality tv show.
